Espiritu is fronted by respected jazz vocalist JULIE EDWARDS, (www.julieedwards.com)
and saxophonist/guitarist KEVIN DEARDEN, (www.kevindearden.co.uk),
who have
a good following in the UK and have toured the country for over 7 years. They
have produced 3 jazz albums to critical acclaim.
They are also in demand for commercial work playing Motown, soul, funk and
party music.
Espiritu's
rhythm section is led by drummer/percussionist CHRIS SYKES, best known for
combining modern kit playing with Afro-Cuban percussion rhythms.
Virtuoso pianist ED BARNWELL has many years of experience in a wide range
of musical fields and bass player
JEZ WATSON
has recently joined the band. Look out for soon to be band member number six
on congas.
